How much will you buy my car for?

SellCar utilise a database with all the information necessary to determine used car values. Simply Request A Quote online and enter your basic car details. But bear in mind that we do not provide automated online valuations as they are too inaccurate. We will need to speak to you before providing you with our quote, to confirm the details already provided online and, where necessary, to expand on them. So please enter correct telephone contact details! All we will require is 15 minutes on the phone to you and in return we will provide you with a fully qualified and, on average, 95% accurate purchase price for your car – all for free and with no obligation on you to sell to us.

I want to sell my car but I still owe money on it. Will you still buy it?
As long as the car you want to sell is worth more than the outstanding finance, we are happy to pay off the car loan and pay you the remainder of the agreed price.

How much is the most you will pay for a car?
Our average buying price is around £10000 and we will buy cars with a value up to £150,000+. Our business model – free collection and instant payment – lends itself mainly to the higher end of the market and busy professional type of customer.

What if I owe more on my car than it is worth? Will you still buy it?
We will still buy your car, so long as the balance outstanding is paid to either the finance company or ourselves.

When selling my used car to you, how will you pay me?
We have a facility with our banks, Natwest and HSBC, to make immediate bank to bank transfers. You will be able to call your bank (or check online using internet banking) to confirm the payment is in your bank account before we leave with your car.

Why should I sell my car to SellCar rather than one of your competitors?

Is the price you quote guaranteed?
In short, no it isn’t and any company who makes such a guarantee is already misleading you. It’s not possible to provide a guaranteed price until we have actually seen your car. What we are trying to achieve is as accurate a figure as we can, subject to this viewing….a stake in the ground that makes it worthwhile you calling us out to your home or office to view your car and worthwhile us investing in the costs of doing so.

Do you buy any car?

We buy and collect any car up to 8 years old and / or 80k miles, from £2000 upwards. As we provide a free collection service, we do not tend to buy cars worth less than £2000 due to health and safety reasons. We also buy motorhomes and vans.

I have a car to sell, but have lost the registration document. Can I still sell my car to you?

If you want to sell your car but have lost the V5 document, the SellCar specialists can carry out all the necessary checks to replace it.

My name is Simon Strom. I sold my car, an RS4 Audi that is a very high spec car and thought it would be hard to sell this time of year.
